Why cant they just respect my wishes?

Ok so i have a 7mnth old daughter and today we have just been to my sister in laws daughters christening who is 11wks older than my daughter...My daughter has a cold and not been well so i choose to leave her in her pushchair so she didnt get pestered...within minutes of us entering the after party my family in laws wer coming over trying to pester her and i was trying to tell them she wernt well..most of the woman in the family tried to say it wernt cold and she was teething (what do they know) When my daughter did wake up i still left her in the pushchair but ppl kept hoovering over her touching her face etc and she just couldnt be bothered and germs p real quick...i went early as she needed feeding and as soon as i went (with my daughter) the family started talking about me asking what my problem was..i dont have a problem i just didnt want her pestered iv had no sleep for nearly 4nights and i know whats best for my child...I dont like her been ped around and think ....
