Buying a horse with a mild bowed tendon?

I have owned and trained many horses and raced them with bows it really depends on the extent of the bow . I recommend that if you do purchase this horse pay 150 to 300 to have a Vet. check him out as to the extent and angle pressure of the bow . As to amount i would only pay 700 to 900 . With a bow you are taking a chance especially if you are going to do a lot of jumping but for pleasure no problem. Make sure when you do anything with horse put running bandages on your horse . If you ask your Vet. he may recommend i do also there are many paints or ligament for bows which do work and tighten up the bow . I had many horses with bows that had a long and prosperous racing career. And your farrier can put on special shoes that do help.
