Imagine if you were so smart that Shakespeare is a bit low-brow for you?

Huh, I've always felt the same way. There were a few moments that I felt were meaningful, like some of the soliloquies. But most of it just felt tedious to me. Underneath all of the complicated verbiage, the stories were usually pretty shallow and uninteresting. The best part about Shakespeare, for me, was the beautiful language that he used.
