Do you think we are being a little arrogant?

I mean, God is an almighty being who was powerful enough to make all of existence from a string, a rubber band and a paper clip. Why should we, a confused little smatter of organic bits ruining our own speck of celestial dust, be so vain and feel so important as to think that God wanted to make each one of us all special and happy and apparently, utterly imperfect. And then to think that he has to take time out of his busy schedule to make up all sorts of crazy rules for us to follow so that we might be able to be one with his mightiness in the one dimensional cliche we call heaven. Surely he has the ability to do all of this caring and watching over effortlessly, he is god afterall, but why should he care at all? And beyond that, is it really caring if you don't give your full attention and not all your efforts. Maybe if he had put in all his efforts, maybe we wouldn't be so.... human.
