Intelligent answers only! I need to upgrade my computer for gaming....?

Motherboard speeds have picked up considerably since 2002. I'm seeing 1066Mhz bus speeds on some boxes. Gaming demands a lot of video & sound throughput, so lots of video ram and a good sound card are critical. A six year old box won't hold its own even after you max out the RAM & pimp the video & sound because the bus speeds are too slow. I'd say it's time for a new box. There are some pretty solid boxes for around $1500 to $2,000.
