I am planing on moving to kuwait for a job, do i declare my criminal record before i go ?

i was convicted in June 2004 of kerb crawling, at the time i never took any legal advice, to cut a long story short i received a fine which i paid. I am now in the process of possibly accepting a job in kuwait, nothing has been asked about criminal records during the interview process, and i am unsure of what will happen when it comes to applying for the visa. As far as i am aware they are planning on flying me out to the country to complete the visa process.
